My Story

I've been that business owner — so deep in the day-to-day I couldn't see the business anymore.

It started with my own health. Exercise changed my life completely, so I became a personal trainer. Then a gym manager. Then I owned Anytime Fitness locations and built training programs I loved growing. I thought I had it figured out.

“You started your business to help people. My job is to make sure you get back to that.”

How I Got Here

COVID gave me time to really dig into marketing — how to attract the right people, not just more people. That worked. Then AI came along and I dove in. What I realized is that business is business. When you understand your customer and your systems, you can help anyone.

My passion is local business owners. I know what it's like to be working so hard inside your business that you can't see it clearly anymore. You started with a dream. You wanted to help people. Somewhere along the way, the business started running you instead of the other way around.

That's why I started Social Mulli. I spent years getting pitched agencies that promised to fill my gym in 30 days, then went quiet the moment I signed. Gym owners would never believe “lose 50 pounds in 30 days.” But they'll fall for “fill your gym in 30 days” every time. Same lie, different industry.

So we do it the way a good trainer does it. Honestly, consistently, and in your corner for the long haul — because marketing magnifies whatever is already there. If the follow-up is broken or the experience is poor, ads don't fix it. They just make more people unhappy, faster.

Today I'm based in Wichita, Kansas — actively acquiring and operating local businesses through Buy & Build, and running Tuscan Salon & Studios — an 18-suite private salon rental space at full occupancy. I don't advise from the sidelines. I'm still running businesses today.
